At Ballyhenry Nursery School we encourage and activate a curiosity for learning.  In a nurturing, secure environment which fosters emotional wellbeing we instil in our children a sense of pride, resilience and creativity. With the support of our families, governors and wider community our experienced staff create a strong foundation for children’s first steps on their educational journey.

Mission

Daily we will …..

• Establish an open door policy for parents which allows for communication about the needs of the child and facilitates parental engagement with the child’s education.

• Work with other nurseries, professionals and trainers, collaborating for the benefit of the child to provide a positive learning environment which meets the needs of each individual child.

• Develop resilient children who are curious and willing to have a go.

• Create an environment which is resourced to stimulate the child’s curiosity and which responds to the child’s individual interests.

• Model positive relationships, behaviours and attitudes with every member of the school community.

• Endeavour to know and celebrate each individual child.
