Nursery had a special visitor to nursery today .... Tilly the Tortoise.  Tilly enjoys her annual visit to nursery as much as the children love seeing her.  All the children were so gentle with Tilly and enjoyed the experience.  We learnt that Tilly is a Salcata Tortoise and doesn't hibernate.  She loves to eat Kale, Lettuce with some dried sunflowers and as a special treat she gets some strawberries.
